HAURATON History 2006 - 2009
2006 - 50 years HAURATON
Future creates the world
50 years of HAURATON – we are looking forward to the next 50 years. With a new brand concept and an internationally orientated product range we are meeting the requirements of an ever more global market. Healthy growth will continue to be more important to us in this process than quick profits. We are therefore keeping our location in Germany as before. For this reason, a new location is being developed just five kilometers away from Rastatt at Ötigheim.
2008 – With a new logistic centre prepared for further growth
Export figures grow continuously, growing turnover also in Germany
With the investment into a new logistic centre and a new manufacturing base we enlarged our capacities. With this investment we want to cover continuously raising requests. Since many years the percental turnover growth in the export was double-digit, but also in Germany we could note in 2007 a strong augmentation. “As a medium-sized family-owned company we are strongly regional positioned. The location Germany is very important for us. That’s why we invested not only in the logistic but also in the local production” says HAURATON Managing Director Marcus Reuter.
2009 – HAURATON on the starting line at Formula 1
Biggest order in company's history: drainage of the new Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi
It's with more than 20 km drainage channels the HAURATON's biggest order in history. The new channel system, the RECYFIX HICAP Type G was especially developed and produced for the new construction of the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The drainage system is innovative or even revolutionary. It's the first system with a channel body made of PE-PP and a slotted covers made of highly stressable ductile iron, which offers a permanent security for highest loadings. Also with regard to logistic and support of the construction this project sets new standards: the on-time delivery of the products and the Know-How transfer for the installation were passed over more than 5,000 km with flying colours and the first race could take place as planned on 1st November 2009.
