HAURATON creates drainage solution for Frankfurt School of Finance
The internationally renowned Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has a new campus - and HAURATON has provided the drainage solution. When the new building was constructed for the School, great emphasis was placed on ecological sustainability as well as state-of-the-art equipment for an open and flexible campus. This means the School obtains energy through its own photo-voltaic systems as well as a wind turbine on the roof of the building.
High-performance array of channels for a prestigious new building
HAURATON was able to set itself apart from the competition in this international project with RECYFIX PLUS channels in various widths and construction heights. A convincing proposal was put in collaboration with August Fichter GmbH in Raunheim. This long-term partner has been using RECYFIX PLUS channels from HAURATON for a long time and knows the major advantages that make the difference based on experience from many other projects: The recycled composite channels are extremely lightweight, which means a great deal of time is saved during processing. Also, RECYFIX PLUS is almost unbreakable compared to other channels. The decisive factor in gaining the project was the variety of the product range with widths of 100, 150, and 200. In addition, HAURATON could also offer and deliver the corresponding GUGI-Ductile iron mesh grating in various load classes. Another positive aspect is that the channels in class C 250 and RECYFIX PLUS X in class D 400 have an excellent internal channel cross-section. The appearance of the drainage solutions is also an ideal supplement to the stunning architecture from the Henning Larsen Architects office in Copenhagen. The design took conservation requirements into account, simultaneously creating a dynamic complex which arranged building units of different heights as if on a chess board and joined them with each other.
